We continue to actively monitor the COVID-19 situation, which is rapidly evolving. The Town is committed to the continued health and optimal safety of our residents as well as our employees, and we intend to do our part to "flatten the curve" of the COVID-19 pandemic.

3-26-2020 Notice from the Attorney General's Office concerning COVID-19 Scams

Effective Tuesday, March 17, 2020, the following Town Buildings and Facilities, will be closed to the public until April 3, 2020. 

  • Bow Municipal Building
  • Bow Safety Center
  • Department of Public Works
  • Community Building
  • Old Town Hall
  • Baker Free Library
Employees will still report to work either onsite or remotely from home and will continue to answer the public's phone calls and emails. In today's world, most of the transactions for our residents can be done online or arranged via phone or email. Resident questions will be answered via phone or email. We encourage our residents to use online services where applicable.

We have stationed drop boxes outside of the Bow Municipal Building, Baker Free Library, Department of Public Works and Community Building.

We respectfully ask that if you are sick you make every attempt to conduct your business online or via phone or email. Employees have been advised to discretely refuse to provide services to any person who is obviously sick with COVID-19 symptoms such as runny nose, coughing, sneezing, shortness of breath or fever. 

The Fire Department, Police Department and Emergency Management Department is limited to emergency personnel only. The following services will not be provided until further notice: 

  • VIN Verifications
  • Citizen fingerprinting
  • Issuance of pistol permits
  • Access to VHC on-line form/submittal
  • Station Tours
  • Burn Permits (on-line only)
