ADMINISTRATIVE/FINANCIAL

  1. Develop water maintenance and operations systems for new water system
  2. Inventory all Town computer hardware and software and create a uniform replacement schedule and process for all Town computer hardware and software
  3. Create a Board led committee to review the CIP process
  4. Complete the codification of Town ordinance and regulations and seek adoption of the Code at the 2012 Annual Town Meeting
  5. Continue to perform an overall Town Web Site makeover and keep the site up to date with relevant information

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

  1. Partner with the Bow Development Commission to attract commercial development
  2. Update the economic development section of Town Web Site

FACILITIES AND INFRASTRUCTURE

  1. Town Center property study and environmental studies of Police Station and Fire Station - The Board of Selectmen has made this the top priority for FY2012.
  2. Bow Bog Meeting House foundation and steeple restoration
  3. Develop a plan for the future use of Bow Bog Meeting House in coordination with the Heritage Commission
  4. Dunklee Road/Rte. 3A intersection re-alignment project; engage engineering firm to develop design options and choose preferred option; create construction plans
  5. Logging Hill/Knox road intersection project; engage engineering firm to develop design options and choose preferred option in coordination with Town Center study
  6. Work with Bow Energy Committee and develop priority list for Town building rehabilitation, energy conservation improvements, etc.
  7. Find a home for the storage and display of Heritage Commission collection of Town artifacts and documents

PERSONNEL

  1. Review all current job descriptions with employees and update; adopt uniform setup for descriptions
  2. Conduct wage study and update pay plan
  3. Activate employee benefit review committee
  4. Plan and conduct the annual service recognition ceremony for Town employees
  5. Plan and conduct a gathering to recognize Town board, committee and commission volunteers
