How to File for Office |
Annual municipal elections for the Town of Bow are non-partisan. The filing period for the 2012 Municipal Elections runs from January 25, 2012 through February 3, 2012. The Office of the Town Clerk will be open the following hours to receive Declarations of Candidacy:
- 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 25, 2012 to Thursday, February 2, 2012
AND
- 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday, February 3, 2012
Candidates filing on the last day of the filing period are required to do so in person at the Office of the Town Clerk. An individual filing for municipal office must: be a citizen of the United States either by birth or naturalization; have and maintain a domicile in the town during the entire term of office; and, be a registered and qualified voter in the Town of Bow. No filing fees are charged for these offices. The list below shows the offices that will be on the ballot on March 13, 2012:
