The Ambulance Oversight Committee was established in 1998 by a vote of the Town and reports directly to the Town Manager and Selectmen. The Committee's responsibilities include providing impartial long-term advice, investigating complaints and promoting continuing education, thus ensuring a commitment to excellence. The Committee meets bi-monthly in the Rescue Building and works closely with representatives of the Bow Fire-Rescue Department. The Committee reviews ambulance logs to monitor for proficiency and confidentiality to assure that quality care is be provided.
