Sealed Bid Auction - Surplus Vehicle

SEALED BID AUCTION – SURPLUS VEHICLE

Town of Bow

 

 

Sealed bids will be accepted on the following vehicle formerly operated by the Bow Police Department and later the Parks and Recreation Department:

 

2000 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor; color blue; 113,519 miles. VIN # 2FAFP71WXYX165235.  Vehicle is drivable and is a full size police cruiser; repairs needed for State inspection include; 2 catalytic converters with 02 sensors, a/c pump; body work and a tune up. 

 

Vehicle will be sold “as is, where is,” with no warranty expressed nor implied.  Sealed bids must be submitted to the Town Manager, Municipal Office Building, 10 Grandview Road, Bow, NH 03304 by 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 29, 2010.  All bids are final and will be awarded to the highest bidder.  Buyer will have until noon on Thursday, August 5, 2010 to pay in full (cash or certified check) to the Town Clerk’s office and remove the vehicle from the police station/department of public works.  Receipt for payment must be shown to police dispatch to remove vehicle. Vehicle not removed by that deadline will be offered to the next highest bidder.  Vehicle will be unregistered and it is the purchaser’s responsibility to legally transport the vehicle.  Vehicle may be inspected in advance at the Bow Police Department/Department of Public Works, 12 Robinson Road between 6:00 a.m. and 1: 30 p.m., Monday thru Friday.

Base course of Phase I of Ridgewood Drive

Paving of Clement, Bona Vista, and Van Ger Drive, Woodlawn Circle, shim on westerly end of Grandview, top course to follow after sewer man holes are raised,  Bow Bog (North end).

EEE and West Nile virus

The seasonal threats of West Nile Virus and Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) have returned with the warmer weather, and all residents are urged to take precautions to reduce mosquito breeding and bites as much as possible.
