Officer MacLennan is a part time patrol officer for the department.  John worked 27 years for the City of Laconia Police Department before coming to Bow in April of 2005.  He has an appreciation for projects that take him from start to finish, such as the creativity of woodworking and the adventure of golf.  He and his wife Lorry have been together for 30 years.  They enjoy the serenity of the ocean side walks and the freedom of riding mountain bikes.  He has 3 grown children, 1 precious grandson Cody Wyatt and a grand dog Chili.
